Marilyn Steinbeck

In 1955, John Steinbeck wrote a letter to Marilyn Monroe requesting Monroe to send a personal photo to his Marilyn-obsessed nephew, Jon Atkinson. The authenticity of the letter is now being questioned. “Marilyn Steinbeck” combines Steinbeck’s (questionable) letter with Monroe’s scandalous (iconic) Playboy debut photograph.
